At Pena Palace, we explore the terraces, the chapel, and the wall walk.

We do not visit the interior rooms. By general consensus among the Portuguese, the exterior areas and viewpoints are considered the highlight of the monument.

The Tour includes tickets to Quinta da Regaleira and to the Pena Palace Terraces (not the interior rooms).

At Quinta da Regaleira, we do not accompany you inside. Instead, we provide a complete historical overview from the outside, guide you through the map, and share useful tips to enhance your visit.

At Pena Palace, we accompany you to the Terraces, the Chapel, and along the Wall Walk.

Approximate time spent at each stop:

1. Historic Center of Sintra — around 1h00
2. Quinta da Regaleira — around 1h15 / 1h20
3. Seaside lunch stop — around 1h15
4. Cabo da Roca — around 25 minutes
5. Pena Palace — around 1h15 / 1h20

If you’d like to try some local pastries, card payments are usually accepted only for amounts over 5€.

For small purchases, having a bit of cash can be helpful. Otherwise, there’s no real need to carry much cash during the Tour.

We are going to see the Moorish Castle throughout the day from different perspectives.

On the way to Pena Palace we pass by the Moorish Castle, but actually we see it better from long distances.
